I'll be honest I am really fucking happy about the Google podcast strategy. It fits with everything my team at Blubrry has been saying for a long time. There has to be some panic at Libsyn and Podbean. They will play it down but I have been a pretty happy camper all week.

having a "native" Android experience will do the same*

*I predict both will be noticeable, but neither as big as most hope (nor in the ways they thought).

Search is core... but their apps? Google hasn't gotten the social-web- media experience right yet, IMO. Maybe this time, but I'm doubtful.
